Certificate

The Certificate module of the admin console consists of functionalities such as display the available certificates, create certificate, assign certificate to group and user, export the certificate file, view certificate details and delete certificate. 

The certificate is currently supported only for windows platform.


Display the available certificates


1. Click on the Compliance > Certificate icon on the left menu.


2. The available certificates will be displayed in table view format as shown below with details like Certificate name, Alias name, Added date, Valid from and Valid to.



Create certificate

An certificate can be created by following the below steps.


1. Click on the Create certificate icon on the top of the Certificate list screen.


2. Create certificate pop up screen will be displayed as shown below.



3. Enter values for the below mentioned fields:

  • Certificate name – Name of the certificate to be created (Mandatory)
  • Certificate alias name – Alias name of the certificate to be created (Mandatory) 
  • Upload certificate – Certificate file to be uploaded (Mandatory)

4. After entering the values for the above fields, Click the Submit button

 

5. A new certificate will be created and displayed in the List screen.


View certificate details


The details of an individual certificate can be viewed using the View certificate details screen by following the steps given below.


1. From the List view screen, click on the three vertical dots at the end of the certificate row.

 

2. A context menu will be displayed from which the View option can be selected.


3. The certificate details screens as shown below will be displayed.


4. The top portion of the screen will display the details of the selected certificate like Certificate name, Alias name, Certificate type, Fingerprint code, Valid from date and Valid to date.


5. The bottom portion of the screen will display the list of Group and Devices to which the selected certificate is applied.


Assign to device


A certificate can be assigned to one or more devices by following the steps given below. 


1. From the List view screen, click on the three vertical dots at the end of the certificate row.

 

2. A context menu will be displayed from which the Assign to device option can be selected.


3. A slider screen with the list of available devices will be displayed as shown below.



4. One or more devices can be selected from the device list and by clicking the Assign button will assign the certificate to the selected devices.



Assign to group


A certificate can be assigned to one or more groups by following the steps given below. 


1. From the List view screen, click on the three vertical dots at the end of the certificate row.

 

2. A context menu will be displayed from which the Assign to group option can be selected.


3. A slider screen with the list of available groups will be displayed as shown below.


4. One or more groups can be selected from the group list and by clicking the Assign button will assign the certificate to the selected groups.


Delete certificate

An existing certificate can be deleted using the steps given below.


1. From the List view screen, click on the three vertical dots at the end of the certificate row.

 

2. A context menu will be displayed, select the Delete option.


3. A confirmation message will be displayed as shown below.


4. Click the Continue button, the selected certificate will be deleted.
