Quantem’s integration with Okta simplifies the enrollment of your devices securely through Okta authentication and the device enrollment in the Android Enterprise program. The integration will sync the user and group of your organization’s Okta account to Quantem and automatic creation of user accounts.
The following steps needs to be done to complete the Okta integration.
Create API Token in Okta
To configure Okta in Quantem, you have to create a token in Okta.
1. Log in to your Okta account.
2. Go to Security > API >Tokens.
3. Click on Create Token.
4. Enter a token name and click on Create Token.
5. Copy and save the created token in a secure place.
To generate an API token for integrating Okta with the Quantem portal, the user needs to have administrator privileges in Okta portal. To reconfigure Quantem for already configured Okta, the user must have one of the following privileges:
- Super Admin
- API Access Management Administrator
- Application Administrator
Users and user groups will be imported to the Quantem admin console.
Configure Okta in Quantem
The following steps needs to be done to import users and groups from Okta.
1. Sign in to your Quantem portal.
2. Navigate to Integration > Okta > Add and configure. A screen as shown below will be displayed.
3. Enter your Okta domain name and Token.
4. Choose how often you want to sync Okta with Quantem. Select the sync time and the sync frequency as Daily/Weekly.
5. Check the Remove user checkbox if you want to sync the removed users.
6. Click on Save.
