Windows Enrollment

Windows enrollment module of the admin console is used to enroll the windows devices. Currently Quantem uses Email based enrollment for Windows devices running on Windows 10 or 11 in 64 bit operating systems.


Email based enrollment can be done using the steps given below.


1. Click on the Enrollment > Windows icon on the left menu.


2. The Windows Email based enrollment screen will be displayed as shown below.




3. A group dropdown with all the available groups will be displayed.


4. Select the group from the dropdown for which the enrollment should be done.


5. A second dropdown with the available users for the selected group will be displayed.


6. Select the user to whom the device needs to be assigned.


7. The Enrollment process steps screen as shown below will be displayed.



Enroll current windows device


If you want to enroll the current windows device, click on the 'Click here' link in Step 1 of the Enrollment process.


1. Once you click it, a prompt will pop up choose “Open Microsoft account” or you can click on the checkbox which will always allow to open these links

 

2. Another screen will pop with the user’s email id, click Next , In this section Domain/Username is optional , enter the code provided in step 3 in the enrollment process and click Next.

 

3. A screen pops up stating “Setting up your device”, give it a read and click “Got it”

 

4. Now, if you go to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School > “Connected by <mail id>'' and "Managed by Quantem".  Thus, you have successfully enrolled your current device.




Enroll another windows device


If you’re enrolling another windows device, follow the below steps:


1. Under Enrollment > Windows > Select the desired Group >  Select user > Click on send email.

 

2. You’ll receive an email with the login credentials, As the mail suggests navigate to "Settings" > "Accounts" > "Access work or school" > "Enroll only in device management" present in the right corner.

 

3. Set up a work or school account page pop ups, Enter the username and click next. In the next tab enter the passcode shared via mail and click Next.

 

4. A screen pops up stating “Setting up your device”, give it a read and click “Got it”.

 

5. Thus, like the previous steps you will be enrolled in Quantem. A pop will also be received stating “Quantem has accessed the device location” once it’s enrolled.

 

6. Also, in  the admin console under Manage > Device > you’ll be able to see the device online status as a sign of Enrollment.
